    Applications are being accepted for CFAES Staff Advisory Council (SAC) Staff Professional Development Awards. The SAC Staff Professional Development Award is funded through support from donations from current and former employees. It is offered to staff of the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences to help supplement the costs associated with educational and professional development activities, including travel and fees for professional development opportunities.

    Join Wooster Campus Staff Council on August 14th from 11:30am to 3:00pm at the annual FunFest! Located at the Secrest Welcome Center you will find games, contests, a tree walk and food for all Wooster Campus employees to enjoy. New this year is the first annual Hot Dog Eating Contest! How many hotdogs can you eat in 10 minutes? First and second place winners will receive a prize AND campus bragging rights!

The events will be broadcast via Zoom and also recorded. Please register if you plan to attend. The 2019 series focuses on CliftonStrengths®, and each session can stand-alone, so you are able to choose sessions that fit your schedule.

  5. Staff Appreciation Luncheon

    Come join CFAES Staff Advisory Council for a staff appreciation luncheon located at Kottman Hall. Lunch will be served from 11:30am to 1:30pm and will include wrap sandwiches, dessert and salad bar with vegan and vegetarian options available. Staff can network, learn more about the upcoming enterprise project Workday and have the chance to chat with CFAES SAC's new advisor, Dr. Tracy Kitchel of ACEL. 

  6. 2019 CFAES Staff Advisory Council Road Trip

    Are you interested in learning more about the research done at our college? Then join us for the CFAES SAC Road Trip to the Ashtabula Research Station. This station performs a wide range of research related to grapes and wine, including studies about disease and pest management, cold tolerance, and trials for new grape varieties. Lunch will be provided at a local winery, Debonne Vineyards, followed by a tour and tasting at their winery. Now Open: Registration
