Celebrate 150 years of The Ohio State University - CFAES Open House

In honor of our sesquicentennial, on March 21st, 2020 Ohio State welcomes everyone to come enjoy a day of celebration on our Columbus campus for our anniversary weekend.

Park for free on campus and start your day at Thompson Library. From there, you'll enjoy a variety of OSU activities including theater performances, hands-on chemistry demonstrations, star gazing at the planetarium and so much more. The CFAES Open House is being held in conjunction with the Ohio State Community Open House to celebrate 150 years with various locations, events and departmental representation at the following locations:

Kunz-Brundige Franklin County Extension Building

Rothenbuhler Honey Bee Research Lab - Live Insects, Entomology/Plant Pathology 

Waterman Headquarters Conference Room - Food Science and Technology, Citation Needed student club, Liquid nitrogen ice cream, Medicine cabinet, STEM activity – straw rockets, CFAES/4-H Alumni + CFAES Recruitment, AEDE - Knowledge Exchange

Waterman Headquarters Shop - SENR, ATI, ACEL, eFields/Extension, Horticulture and Crop Sciences, Chadwick Arboretum

Outdoors at Waterman - FABE, UTV Soil Sampling, James Mobile Kitchen, Animal Sciences
